Too Perfect

A Short Film by Seward Square Productions

A passive-aggressive romance . . .
A historic mix-up . . .
A murder,
probably.

TOO PERFECT is the story of Rueben English, a regular guy and a bit of a slacker. The one thing he has going for him is Robin, a beautiful model who is (for some reason) devoted to him.

Rueben can't commit to Robin. She is just too perfect. But he can't bear to break up with her.

So, what’s an average guy to do when he can’t live with his perfect girlfriend, but can’t break up with her? Murder, obviously.

He persuades his best friend, David Thomas—pastor of a growing contemporary church—to help him with the deed. David (who, let’s face it, is a little bit shady) agrees to help.

Plans are made. The trap is set.

But, as typically happens, things go awry.

This quirky, dark comedy short from the mind of Andy Pratt features three memorable characters and a good amount of snappy dialogue. The film challenges audience expectations in hilarious ways.
